Successfully Driving Change: Breathing Life Back Into Bridgestone Americas
Description: The ACMP Tennessee Chapter invites you to join an interactive webinar on Thursday, December 10th from 8:00-9:00 A.M. with Gary Garfield, former CEO of Bridgestone Americas, a large multi-national subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation.
Gary will share his story of driving massive change at a company that had been struggling for years to achieve extraordinary results. In 2010, Gary Garfield, the then General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, was asked to become CEO and turn around the company’s performance. He did. During his tenure, the company outperformed the S&P 500 as a result of Gary’s efforts to address the underlying problems in the organization and drive cultural change.

ACMP/ICFTN Workshops
Description: The highly interactive workshop following the Chapter Meeting will take a deep dive into the practice and principles of change management and coaching. Challenges that constrain plus opportunities that support change and coaching will be discussed to allow participants an opportunity to see how these two practices work well together and support the desired outcomes of any initiative. Proven tools and activities will be introduced for both coach and change practicioner to apply to real-world case studies in small groups thus highlighting the need to build awareness, enable the use of powerful questions, and design actions that move the goals or strategies of an individual or organization forward well after the workshop ends.
